Gary Paul Price

Gary Paul Price is Of Counsel to the Firm. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1973 and started his own law firm after discharge from Active Duty in the United States Air Force. While on active duty, Mr. Price served as a judge Advocate General; he continued his service to our country for over 33 years in the United States Air Force Reserve, retiring in 2004 as a Colonel (06). His final assignment was in the Office of the Judge Advocate General, the Pentagon, Washington D.C.

Mr. Price earned his Bachelors degree from Otterbein College (B.A., 1970), and Law degree from The University of Toledo, College of Law (J.D., 1973).  He is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, in the United States District Court, Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio; in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Ohio; and in the United States District Court of Michigan.  Gary is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association; he is also a member of the Retired Judge Advocates General Association and Military Officers Association of America.

Mr. Price has broad experience both professionally and “in real life” from serving as an Air Force Attorney in various assignments around the world while, at the same time, maintaining an active “people-centered law practice” in Columbus, Ohio.

Prior to joining the Air Force and starting the practice, Mr. Price was actively involved in his family's automobile and recreational vehicle business; in fact, he continues to have close ties to many people in those industries today.  In his role as a private attorney, he has provided advice and counsel to hundreds of individuals and businesses regarding their legal needs.

Joining Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath and Terlecky as “Of Counsel” will allow him to continue to provide counsel and advice to individuals and business with whom he has established a trusted relationship while taking advantage of the knowledge and expertise of the many experienced and talented attorneys at Strip, Hoppers.

Mr. Price enjoys the challenge and opportunity to help individuals and small businesses plan for and resolve a wide variety of legal endeavors and is looking forward to concentrating his legal expertise in these areas.  At the same time, Gary & Linda, his wife of 50 years, would like to spend more time enjoying the fruits of their labor: i.e., golf, travel and grandkids!
