Joel R. Campbell

A partner in the law firm, Mr. Campbell graduated with a Juris Doctor from The University of Akron where he was selected to the Akron Law Review Board of Editors. He previously received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He began law practice handling a variety of trial matters as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Franklin County, Ohio.

He is admitted to the practice of law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Northern and Southern District Courts of Ohio, and the Ohio Supreme Court.

A highly rated trial lawyer, Mr. Campbell concentrates his practice on civil litigation, such as business matters, domestic relations, and personal injury, but he also assists with planning matters for families and smaller businesses. In recognition of excellence in advocacy, Mr. Campbell has been certified as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to attorneys who have won million-dollar verdicts and/or settlements for their clients.

For over twenty years, Mr. Campbell has received the AV Preeminent designation by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Columbus CEO Magazine in its Top Lawyer list for many years.

Mr. Campbell has been a member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations for more than forty years. He served as a member of several committees, including Judiciary, Family Law, Common Pleas, and Fee Arbitration, for which he has served as Chair.

A former mayor and council member of the City of Dublin, Mr. Campbell has been active in many community affairs in Central Ohio for decades and has served as Magistrate for the Dublin Mayor’s Court since 2010.

Mr. Campbell is past president of the Board of Trustees of the Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau and previously served as treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Dublin Counseling Center. He’s a member of the Dublin Area Chamber of Commerce, Dublin AM Rotary, the University of Akron Dean’s Club, The Ohio State University Alumni Association and The Ohio State University President’s Club.
